8/12 Crescent Spirit! OK, so it's not August yet..but we're so excited and proud of our friends Tav, Syndey, and crew at Florida State Film School for putting together a soon-to-be-released documentary about the love we have for music here in New Orleans. Even the trailer will make you want to get up and dance! (p.s. - check out those floppy ears at 0:34!)
6/12 Vote for Laura Jane Ratcliffe! OK, we know it's also not June yet, but Laura is the FUTURE y'all! Her duo with sister Marianne, aka Mia and the Moon, will be on next season's X Factor in the UK. If you love her as much as we do then please vote for them! All we can say is we love Laura ~ her voice, her energy, her range, and wonderful sense of humor! In case you missed her performance with us at Jazzfest, you can check her out on YouTube.

4/12 New Orleans in full bloom. We know spring has sprung when it's April in New Orleans! Between French Quarter fest and Jazzfest, there is something for everyone as visitors and locals alike come out to join in the festivities. This year our annual "family reunion" includes George Blackmon, Kelly Love Jones, Laura Jane Ratcliffe, and Brian J (not pictured, but oh so awesome singer/guitarist). Also, thanks to Jan Oosterhuis for the photos!
3/12 Cheers to Casey! Just when we thought it couldn't get any *magical-er*, along comes Casey from Casey's on Central in downtown Orlando. A lover of music, dogs, and good times, we raise our glasses to you Casey! For those of you passing through downtown Orlando, don't miss the live music and fun at Casey's bar. 7/11 Mahalo Hawaii! One love for the beautiful people, land, and sea. We substituted our usual tip baskets for sand pails while busking on Kalakaua Ave. Lots of love to friends old and new, especially the gorgeous and talented Ishle Park and her sweet little pearl, Sulei.

other through our friend Zach in New York about 10 years
ago. We hit it off right away, and our music has brought us all through
the Caribbean, Europe, and the USA. When we're not working, we are often
dreaming and scheming about learning new music, recording new albums,
and getting better.
